Nostalgia is kind of like driving alone down a road headed somewhere you’ve been long ago and always wanted to return to. Your anticipation builds and your heart rate rises as you drive. Mile past mile you’re getting closer and closer to that place in your head, until you realize you have driven way too far and far too long.

Have you ever been lost in your own world? I mean totally and completely enamored by the forays of your own mind. I mean so lost and taken that the real world paled in comparison to your inner thoughts.

There are 363 days left in the year 2013. Interesting thought, isn't it? Maybe if we looked at time based on what we have left and not what we have already done we would have more sense of urgency. Saying that today is the second day of the year makes it seem like it's "only" the second day and lots of time stretches out before us (which it does sort of, I mean a year is a long time).

Throughout the four to five years that a student spends in college, he/she will never read even one percent of the books available. Amid schoolwork, test preparation, and textbooks, there's not enough time to read anything else. What good is this access when you don't have the time to use it?
