State of the Union
Days after the Golden Globes (which filled me with so much joy I just can't express it), a different city is buzzing for very different reasons: Washington, DC and the State of the Union.Call me a nerd but I've always enjoyed watching it, during college we would have watch parties with pizza and Cokes--it was like political junkie Christmas. Well, that's probably Election Day. Political junkie New Year's then. :)In honor of tonight's speech, here's 5 things I'm grateful to President Obama for. #thanksObama
- Low gas prices/better economy
- Extending healthcare for young adults
- Student loan reform
- Capturing Osama bin Laden
- His empathy for marginalized groups/issues
