More Life, More Poetry

 Over the Christmas holiday I decided to dive head first into my humble, yet deep collection of poetry books. I decided I wouldn't buy anymore until I read through at least half of these, so keep your fingers crossed that I hold to my goal!Social media has been buzzing about exactly when Drake's new "playlist" More Life will be dropping. Most fans are equally, if not more, excited about the lyrics than the beat, waiting for catchy lines and phrases to use on their Instagram captions. It's one more reminder of the power of poetry and how it impacts our lives. Regardless what form of verse it comes in, or whether or not it's accompanied by music, poetry is an essential part of our artistic freedom.
