Black Banana

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm so glad to tackle another week with you and share more poetry from the book. If you're working on the poem-a-day for April (national poetry month) I hope that's been coming along well. I'm a few days behind myself, but overall it's been a fruitful month of writing, and I'm gearing up for some more contest/journal submissions! Today's preview comes from one of my personal favorites, Black Banana, which tells a story of the internal and psychological effects of social injustice.
